St. Fremund's (or St. Fred's as it's often called!) is a friendly and welcoming local church on the Beecroft Estate in northwest Dunstable. Our building was consecrated in May 1968  In the years that have followed the church has grown in numbers so the building has been extended three times to accommodate us all, which gives us a unique 'feel' to a prayerful place.

St Katherine of Genoa (LEP)

Katherine Drive Dunstable

We are a warm, friendly, communally-minded ecumenical church. Our worship draws on the traditions of both the Anglican and United Reformed Churches from which we came. When a Local Ecumenical Partnership was set up in 1997, our services become livelier and more creative with the experience of the different ministries and lay people's gifts in both churches. We recently voted heartily that the partnership should continue in the future.

The worship centre is a spacious "upper storey room" which most people find conducive to worship. We were able to build this special place ourselves in 1971 with the aid of excellent leadership, community involvement and the help of God. Many of the organisations of the church and local children from the schools share our worship from time to time.

As yet a lift to the upstairs is unavailable, but the Hall and other rooms downstairs are easily accessible.
