My mum was extremely unhappy living here. Her bedroom was small and dark, basic care was hit and miss. She was often missing clothing, teeth, glasses and hearing aids and frequently looked dirty. There was nothing for her to do all day during her stay there. I won't say any more except that mum's death is being investigated.

My mother first came to Chiltern View as respite between hospital and going home; she liked it so much that she stayed, this was ten months ago. I can't speak highly enough of Amber, the manager and her staff; they all go above and beyond their roles and I'd hate to think of mum being anywhere else.

My mum moved into Chiltern View in October 2018 after a lengthy hospital stay. The management and staff have been amazing, giving her time, attention and the care she needed along with getting to know her personally to turn her life around completely. She has gone from a frail lady with no will to be here to enjoying all the activities that are put on at the home, becoming the resident representative, gaining mobility again and also putting weight on each week due to their lovely nutritious and appetizing meals.
Not only is the care fantastic for the residents but also this extends to their families, the home is bright , fun, warm and caring. I cannot speak highly enough of chiltern view and every member of staff there.
