Followed one of their pickups along the lower Luton road with rubbish being thrown out of the passenger window. PO64*** 23/03/2023 Just to follow up, thanks for your reply and explanation. To be perfectly honest I didn’t actually see what was thrown out, I think because it was being thrown out you just assume it’s “rubbish”. As you say, it was leftover food for birds/animals etc to eat. Also it wasn’t thrown onto the path or road but onto the grass verge. I’ll pay more attention in future if I see anything being disposed of by anyone: please accept my apologies.

Cherished Buildings were recommended through our architects, along with a number of other builders. Ricky and Junior were great from the outset, encouraging us to visit and speak to clients who they were currently building an extension for. Their price seemed good value and seeing their current work gave us the confidence to go ahead. I'm so pleased that we did. The work we had carried out involved the remodeling of our downstairs, removing structural walls including chimney and installing steelwork, replacing staircase etc. Aside from doing a great job, timing of the project was also key for us as we needed to move out of our house whilst the work was undertaken. Ricky and Junior delivered on their commitment and after 8 weeks we were able to move back in. Communication along the way was great, sending us pictures on progress and always discussing with us first any issues that arose. Our neighbours were very complimentary of the builders which meant a lot to us as we wanted to minimise as much disruption for them as possible. Undertaking building work is always very stressful but Ricky and Junior were always available to answer questions and their good humour certainly helped us through the project. We used Cherished Buildings for a refurb of our loft in our Victorian house and were extremely happy with the team and the results! Ricky and Junior got our vision straight away and worked with us to shape it into something with the wow factor, yet practical. The team were hard working and tidy, doing what they could to minimise disruption and dust in the rest of the house. They always talked us through decisions and the rationale behind them. We were extremely happy with the end result and quality of workmanship from the team - they take a lot of pride in what they do, which was important to us when choosing our builders.

We have used Cherished Buildings for two major projects on our house, and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Ricky and Junior are incredibly supportive, professional, courteous and knowledgeable, and throughout both periods of work managed to remove a huge amount of the associated stress from us as we had the major works done to our house. They are very thoughtful in their approach and ways of working, explaining their ideas and actions to make sure we are comfortable and understand, and always applying thought and insight to minimise disruption to the household, the family and our neighbours. Their work is of a very high quality, and the tradesmen they bring in for electrics, carpentry etc. are all top notch, and we have used them separately for other smaller jobs we have had. The finished product has exceeded our expectations on both occasions, and much as we’ve loved to get to the end and be able to enjoy the wonderful result, we’ve also kind of missed having Ricky and Junior around :) Highly recommended, and we wish them all the success they deserve as a company and as individuals.
